Dean and I had purchased our SMEG kitchen appliances from another suppler some 2 years ago. Our oven malfunctioned 3 months out of its standard 2 year warranty. When I contacted the “other” supplier I bought the goods from they simply advised “sorry we can’t help you, your out of warranty”. Later, when I received the recent Status Plus newsletter promoting SMEG, I mentioned to Leighton the issues I had with my oven and the shocking response I had from the “other” supplier of the goods. Leighton took it upon himself to pass my experience onto the SMEG rep who quickly arranged to have the oven repaired under warranty. I can’t tell you how impressed we are with the outstanding good will shown by both Nathan from SMEG and Leighton at Status Plus for taking on our cause even though the appliances were NOT purchased from your store. I am pleased to say I will be making all my future purchases through your store and will be telling friends and family to do the same.

We are so happy that we walked into your lovely showroom when we needed some new kitchen appliances. Your staff is always very friendly and helpful. We are also very happy with the prices and after sales service. We purchased a Siemens dishwasher; rangehood; and a self-cleaning oven; and an Electrolux upside-down refrigerator. They are all wonderful appliances and easy to use. We were very happy with the local service and they came on time too.

I have just recently had the pleasure of purchasing a clothes dryer from your company. I received the best service possible from your Sales Manager Charles. I own a villa in Mirage Port Douglas and organised the sale via telephone and email. The space where the dryer sits is quite small so it wasn't a straightforward purchase. Charles went out of his way to find the right product for me and has now become an expert on small dryers!. He couldn't have been more polite, charming and competent with his service. I shall be back when my small washing machine packs up sometime in the near future!.

Well it was a Friday afternoon and my electric kettle had given up the ghost several days before. I was sick of boiling water in a saucepan. I went in to one store…for no particular reason, and found the blue Kenwood kettle i had been coveting, for $119. Low and behold they wouldn't sell it to me, as it was the display model, even after the assistant had rung his manager to ask. Dejected, on my way back home I thought…why not see what Status Plus has to offer. To my surprise, there was the same kettle, for $99. Even better, it came with a $30 cash back offer, a glass of champagne, and a smile. Happy Days!

I recently rang Status Plus to enquire about a replacement ceramic glass cooktop. I do not live in the Cairns area. Ashley at Status Plus advised me that the cooktop I was seeking was no longer available but that he would find one with the same measurements and of similar quality and appearance. He did this. He then arranged transport, installation by a local electrician and the removal of the broken top. Within a few days the cooktop was bought, packaged, transported and installed. The customer service I received from Ashley at Status Plus was excellent with the whole process very thoughtfully and efficiently handled. The cooktop could not have been chosen better...it fits all the requirements.
